Getting your order to you safely and responsibly
As with every other aspect of our service, we pay great attention to detail when it comes to shipping your order. We know how exciting it is to receive a special package. So we carefully pack your order to ensure it’s well protected and a real treat for you or your clients to open.
If you have any specific shipping requests, we’re here to help. And we can easily drop ship to most countries around the world.
Here are the answers to the questions we’re most often asked about shipping.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, you can check shipping costs by adding an album to your cart and using the “ESTIMATE SHIPPING AND TAX” option.
Our albums are classified as books using the international harmonised tariff code 4901 99 00 [Books].
As you will be responsible for any import tax please check the rate for your country.
Which courier company do you use?
After much research we decided to partner with both DHL and DPD. If their service is available in your country we’ll give you the option when checking out. Not only do they offer a fantastic service, but they also offset the carbon allowing our shipping service to be completely carbon neutral. Yay!
How much is shipping?
The shipping costs are calculated during the checkout process and are based upon your delivery address.
Most mainland UK addresses are £8.95 (DHL), £9.95 (DPD) with the Channel Islands and remote destinations being a little more.
EU and rest of the world shipping costs vary depending on the weight of the shipment and your address. You can check the price by adding an album to your cart and using the “ESTIMATE SHIPPING AND TAX” option.
What if I’m located nearby, can I collect?
No problem, we’re keen to reduce our carbon footprint. Just choose to collect from Folio Albums HQ during checkout.
Do I need to pay UK VAT?
All our albums are zero rated for VAT. All other products and services are subject to VAT, such as our presentation products, prints, accessories, etc.
These rules apply if you live in the EU and are not VAT registered. However, if you are based in the EU and are VAT registered then you will not pay VAT on any of our products or services.
For anyone outside the UK and EU there is no VAT to pay.
Can I ship directly to my client?
Yes you can. Simply choose a different shipping address and include the additional contact information when placing your order.
Are invoices included in the box?
As a rule, no. Some countries outside the EU do require invoices for customs purposes although where possible we digitally supply this information to DHL.
Can I get a VAT invoice?
Yes, we’ll send you a full VAT invoice electronically so it won’t be included in the box.
