We’ve been mastering our printing techniques since 2010, marrying pigment inkjet technology with exquisite fine art paper with 'strokeable' texture to create wedding prints and more that will last a lifetime and beyond.

We hold the exact details of how we achieve such incredible sharpness, accuracy, and consistency in your prints close to our hearts. But it involves high-end printers, archival-quality pigment-based inks, the latest HDR products, a climate-controlled workshop, a fully colour-managed workflow, and fastidious checking. The result—family memories and wedding albums that stand the test of time.Â
From screen to photo album
As screen images are in RGB and printed images are in CMYK, moving from one mode to another involves translation to ensure colour accuracy. It’s something we’ve honed over the years, although you can be sure that we’d never colour correct your images.We also continually develop our ICC colour profiles to achieve the very best image quality and consistency and prevent ink transfer.
Sync for print
End-to-end calibration also helps increase colour accuracy, so we recommend calibrating your monitors using an industry-standard device such as i1Display or ColorMunki. While we don’t supply downloadable profiles, if your system is fully calibrated, you can send us your images as JPGs saved in RGB mode using the colour profile sRGB. This helps us reproduce your colours as precisely as possible.

The fine art of paper selection
The experience of leafing through an album full of cherished images is as much about the feel as the look. So we ensure our albums are as lovely on the inside as they are on the outside.
We only use acid-free fine art papers and have searched far and wide to find the highest quality and broadest variety – from our popular smooth surface, matte finish Art White to our fine art cotton rag style, Photo Rag paper.
We’ve chosen the best paper types
For each type of album, we’ve already selected the best papers so you can be sure your choice is suitable for the product. Our Fine Art Album, for example, are only available in Art White because its robustness prevents ink transfer, and its white point aids contrast and saturation.
While our Matted Albums and Client Folios are available in wider selections because mounts prevent the pages touching when the book is closed.

Folio Albums Art White is a smooth, matt paper which produces highly saturated images whilst maintaining brilliant highlight and shadow detail and also produces beautiful detail in black and white imagery. We recommend this paper for landscapes and wedding imagery.
Folio Gallery Pearl

Base colour: Natural white

Gallery Pearl has a silk/satin finish with a naturally warm base tint. The coating on this paper has been applied to a Baryta layer which helps reproduce deep blacks and creamy whites. We recommend this paper for portraits and landscapes in both black and white and colour.

Textured White 310 has a lovely rough weave that produces a textured and undulated paper finish. It has a mid-white base with a perfectly matt finish. This paper produces print sharpness with amazing highlight and shadow detail. We recommend this paper for landscapes or any images with high detail.
