"I've got this!"

Starting a new project can feel like a lot. As well as breaking it down into steps and manageable tasks, we also have our top tips to overcome overwhelm.

  • Procrastination is overwhelm’s best friend. To avoid getting distracted put on a chill playlist, find a quiet space and tick off each item on your to-do list, this will keep you focused and give you a dopamine kick!

  • If you’re a perfectionist, it may be time to let it go. Concentrate on completing your tasks in a good time to a high standard. Finished is always better than perfect.

  • Creative block is a struggle for everyone. If you’ve hit a creative wall go for a walk or make a cuppa. A change of scenery can encourage new ideas and give you a different perspective.

Now you’re ready to smash that task!
