Folio Albums Presents… The Eco-Frame

Folio Albums is a company designed by photographers, for photographers. So whilst our Fine Art Books wonderfully showcase your work in a photographic album, we know that more and more of your clients are wanting accompanying portraits that they can frame – so after careful research we have launched our Eco-Frame range.

Hand-made from 100% reclaimed wood, these timber frames may all be the same at heart but their histories and appearances are truly unique. Available as 15″x10″, 18″x12″, or 24″x16″, all you need to do is upload your image at the selected size as an sRGB JPG at 300ppi and we will take care of the rest.

The Eco-Frames are available in either a Vintage White, or Antique Brown finish, and our wood stains are all water-based and Eco friendly.

The portraits inside are printed on a heavyweight canvas which is sealed with a water-based fine art varnish which provides a timeless matte finish to complement, and enhance, the beauty of the wood.

Our Eco-Frames have a history and heritage all of their own with sources ranging from Victorian floorboards to Railway sleepers. Rather than sanding them down to create a standardised product we wanted to keep their individual character in tact and allow it to flourish, helping to create an overall image rather than just encasing one. Their worn nature adds to the aesthetic of the completed product, providing a beautiful texture and natural patina which ensures our frames are exquisite to both hold, and behold.

At Folio Albums all of our products are designed with environmentally friendly and archival qualities in mind. This wood has already stood the test of time, so our Eco-Frames and Canvas portraits will ensure that your images will last for generations.

Our Eco-Frames are available to order from our store. After you select the Eco-Frame size, you will then select which finish you would like the frame to have – just like when you order our Fine Art Albums.

To order from our store you will need to login, but if you don’t have an account with us yet you can register HERE.
