#FFF… 21st December 2012

This week’s Folio Friday Foto is taken from Jonathan Stockton’s latest sample album.

We have another double feature [maybe the post should be renamed to Folio Friday Fotos…] but once again I’m sure you’ll see why we wanted to include both shots that we were kindly sent.

This may be the season for winter weddings, but these images come from an Autumn wedding shoot that just looked amazing. We don’t see that many Autumn weddings, and this section of Jonathan’s sample album showcased just how beautiful that they can be and what wonderful images can come as a result.

Jonathan told me that the shots weren’t planned, but that he and the couple happened upon the scene and managed to get some fantastic, in-the-moment, photographs. The fallen, and falling, leaves help to really capture the moment and create shots that are fun as well as romantic. The shot of the bride framed by the red leaves instantly captivated me when I looked through this album. The autumnal colours add a warmth and beauty to the image especially with the still-green grass and foliage behind the bride.

So, despite these images coming from an Autumn wedding, I think that the red and green look rather festive and in season – so we hope you all have a wonderful Christmas-time, and enjoy our final #FFF of 2012:
