Freedom Tour Diary 2013: Bristol Tour Stop

The tour just keeps getting better!

We had a fantastic day at Bristol – with a vintage car and push-bike! Our tour’s picking up an unofficial theme here…

We’ve also adopted an unofficial tour friend – the lovely sunshine!

The amazing weather continued yesterday, and followed our Freedom Tour to Camberley today. Here at Folio HQ we’re a little jealous that Stewart and John hijacked the sun – but it’s definitely good news for all of you!

Yesterday we commandeered the Inn’s entire outdoor area for our styled shoots – apologies to any other Compass Inn-ers!

Check out all of our images on the Zenfolio Tour Gallery.

Jo Hansford, who led some of yesterday’s shoots, did an amazing job with the planning, props, and styling.

Jo sourced the vintage transport that we had at yesterday’s Tour stop: a classic MK2 Jaguar from AJE Classics, and pedal-bike from Bristol Vintage. Van Outen loved having friends again – our shoot planners are ensuring she won’t be lonely:

Our styled shoot make-up artist Tracey did a fantastic job again, making sure that all of our models had a classic parisian look, and she stayed all day to do any touch ups that were needed for those close-ups!

Our models – Holly, Charlie, and Flo (who is only 16!) – were amazing, and the shoots had a great vibe throughout the day.

Styled shoot

Chris at Epson kept getting mobbed as all of our styled shoot-ers were getting their images printed off – but hey! it’s free of charge so take advantage of Chris and his printer! Make sure that you get some keepsakes of any photographs that you love from the tour days. Whether you are partaking in the styled shoots or not – Chris is there for everyone!

Olympus brought a small range of lenses which were used in the styled shoots. John kept our Olympus friend happy by shooting with a original series PEN – but I still think he loves the OM-D more…

After the tour date ended, Stewart and John got a lot of product snaps so we could update our stock images.

Although I think John is getting a little too attached to Van Outen, as halfway through the product shots she had a little photo-session of her own! Clearly the MK2, and pedal bike, were stealing her thunder in today’s shoots. So here’s Van Outen, up close and from all angles – I think she’ll be an official tour model next year:

The boys sunscreened it up yesterday, and so they are a little less red looking today – and after a good night’s beauty sleep they are raring to go in Camberley.

Today we also got an unexpected surprise – Lucky is jumping on board the Freedom Tour early and he is heading down to Camberley for this afternoon’s tour date. He’s then road-tripping with Stewart and John down to Birmingham for our fourth tour date and The Final Fling. (Clearly he can’t resist Van Outen’s charms either!)

So – we’ll be back tomorrow with an update on all of the goings on at Camberley.

See you soon!
