Albums aren’t just to be looked at, they’re to be held and lingered over. We’ve chosen two leather ranges that just beg to be touched. They’re natural leathers of the finest quality and durability – the kind you’ll find on lavish yachts and when flying first class.

 

Contemporary Leather Range

Included in the standard album price, our Contemporary Leather range is strong but tactile and comes in Ivory, Jade, Pillar Box, Plum, Nut Brown and Ebony.

Vintage Leather Range

Upgrade your Contemporary Leather to our Vintage Leather. This supple, silky hide comes in Toffee, Rust, Berry and Chocolate.

Photo Cotton Cover

If you want a bespoke finish to your album you’re going to love our Photo Cotton covers. By printing your design directly onto 100% cotton we create a beautiful natural finish which is locked in with a light fixative. It’s classy yet contemporary and we think you’re going to love them.

Colour Cotton Covers

This is a new range of high quality 100% cotton colours that have been selected for its strength and environmental qualities. Available in Magnolia, Apple, Aqua, Steel Blue, Dusty Pink, Bronze, Slate Grey and Liquorice, this material can be chosen in place of the Contemporary Leather cover at no additional cost.

6×6 Canvas Covers

This lightweight and vibrant canvas range has been chosen for its eco credentials and comes in 6 colours; Pistachio Green, Summer Blue, Fuchsia Pink, Poppy Red, Foxglove Purple, Shadow Grey.

To Pad Or Not To Pad

For a contemporary and stylish finish choose the unpadded cover.

For a more traditional feel choose padded.

 

There’s no price difference, you simply pick your favourite cover style.

 

If you’re struggling to choose, we prefer unpadded covers.

 

Please note that Photo Cotton covers are only available as unpadded albums.

 

 
 

Imprinting, embossing, debossing … whatever you call it

We call it debossing, but it really doesn’t matter to us as we know what you mean.

 

Please note that imprinting is only available on leather and Colour Cotton 12″x12″, 10″x10″ and 8″x8″ albums.

 

You have the option to customise your main album in two ways.

 

1. Client name debossing

Your clients’ names are imprinted in the optical centre* of the front cover in uppercase. We use the font Univers Black (see example below). You have one line of text to play with and there is a physical limit to the number of characters – see below. Instead of your clients’ name(s) you could use the text for your studio name or wedding date.

 

12″ x 12″ albums: Maximum of 23 characters.

10″ x 10″ albums: Maximum of 19 characters.

8″ x 8″ albums: Maximum of 15 characters.

 

Please note that the characters available for text debossing are [A-Z],[0-9],[. & - ' ,]

 

 

2. Studio logo debossing

Personalise your album with your studio logo (see example below). The maximum size for your logo is 8cm x 8cm however depending on the style of your logo we may suggest a suitable size. Most people use 7cm as the maximum dimension of their logo.

 

There is no charge to have your first logo made but will need a high resolution version of your logo – specification below. If you need help with converting your logo in to suitable formation please get in touch.

 

 
 

* please note that the optical centre is slightly higher than the physical centre point on the cover.

 

Logo file format

JPG

We require a black and white image (no greyscale I’m afraid) with black being the part imprinted into the leather. Your file needs to be saved in RGB mode with a minimum resolution of 600dpi and a maximum size of 8cm x 8cm. Upsizing a low resolution file won’t work very well as the jagged edges will be amplified. If possible please create your JPG from a high resolution version.

 

Vector Graphics

We can also accept EPS and Adobe Illustrator files although we will need to know the required die dimensions. Please get in touch for assistance after you have placed your order.
